High School Scholarship Program
The Exchange Club of Wolcott will offer four (4) $1,000.00 scholarships to the 2020 graduating class of high school seniors. Applicants must be Wolcott residents and plan on attending an accredited institution of higher learning. Applications for this year’s scholarships can be obtained from the Wolcott High School guidance office or from any member of the Exchange Clubs’ Scholarship Committee on or after February 15th 2020.

Applications must be completed in full, printed, signed and returned no later than April 24th, 2020 to the Wolcott High School guidance office or to The Exchange Club of Wolcott P.O.Box 6072 :Attention Michael DeNegris, Wolcott CT.. The Exchange Club of Wolcott’s Scholarship committee encourages each eligible student to apply for these scholarships.
Wolcott Education Foundation
Scholarship applications will be available in the Guidance Dept. of Wolcott High School as well as on the Wolcott Public Schools website under Programs. Deadline for filing the paperwork is Friday, March 13, 2020. Last year the Directors awarded $9,000 to Wolcott High School Seniors. Scholarships were given in memory of Louise Buzzelli, Phil Cordeau, Nicholas and Gloria D’Agostino, Inez Hartigan, Julia Nole, David Pape, and the Retired Teachers. We thank those families for their continued support of the Foundation. Also named scholarships for Thomas Jokubaitis, Dr. Richard Dvarskas , and Children’s Village were given. Wolcott Lions Scholarships
The Wolcott Lions will again be offering six (6) $2000.00 scholarships to the Class of 2020 graduating high school seniors, who reside in Wolcott, and are planning to attend accredited institutions of higher learning. Applications on disks can be obtained at the Wolcott High School Office, by calling Rene Wisler at 203-879-4822 anytime or email firstname.lastname@example.org and arrangements will be made to furnish you with an application. Applications must be fully completed on the computer, printed, signed and returned no later than April 24th to Wolcott High School, to Rene Wisler at 14 Townline Road, Wolcott, CT 06716, or email completed applications to email@example.com
Farmingbury Women’s Club of Wolcott
The Farmingbury Women’s Club of Wolcott will be offering two (2) $500 scholarships to the Class of 2020 graduating high school seniors. Graduating seniors must be a resident of Wolcott and planning to attend an accredited institution of higher learning. Graduating students who do not attend Wolcott High School are eligible for a scholarship. WHS students please contact WHS Guidance Office and all others contact Carleen Van Blarcom at firstname.lastname@example.org. Application deadline is on or before Monday April 6, 2020.
ATTENTION ALL CAMPERS!!!
The Wolcott Commission for Individuals with Special Needs is accepting applications for the George Lane Memorial Campership. Each campership will cover the base cost for a week of ‘sleep away camp’ at Camp Harkness in Waterford, CT. Applicants must be 18 years of age or older, a resident of Wolcott, and an individual with Special Needs.
