We are happy to announce that we will be partnering with Dollar General, 1651 Wolcott Rd location (top of the hill), for our toy drive and our mittens and hat drive. Due to Covid-19 we are unable to launch a full-scale toy drive this year, but Dollar General has graciously offered to set up boxes in their store to help us fulfill the dreams of a joyous Christmas for some local children whom may otherwise not have one. We appreciate and are grateful for any donations because your gifts will generate smiles on children’s faces, and that is priceless.
We outreach to people at all different points along the continuum of addiction, prevention – education – resources – help – support. We get to witness some amazing and miraculous stories of hope and recovery, but we also experience the heart ache and pain that loved ones endure when someone loses their battle with addiction. We ask that our community help us break the stigma of addiction. Be kind, have empathy, and please do not judge. No one wakes up and declares, I want to be a substance abuser.
We have a new supply of drug tests, 12 panel cups that test for fentanyl.
Our support group is back to meeting in person using the Covid-19 guidelines. Every Monday, 7:30pm, at the Wolcott Youth Center.
Please use the drug drop off box, located at the Wolcott P.D. to get rid of all unused prescription drugs
Open meetings every Monday 7:30 at the Wolcott Youth Center, everyone is welcome. Visit us on Facebook: wolcottcrossroadsinc
